Our family has been engaged in agriculture for more than 50 years, and today production is led by the third generation, continuing the tradition, knowledge, and dedication to working the land. This combination of experience and a modern approach forms the foundation of our business.

In 1998, the family farm grew into a company, marking the beginning of systematic development and the professionalization of production. Since 2015, we have been fully focused on the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants, with a particular emphasis on organic chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla).

Today, we process several hundred tons of dried chamomile annually, certified as organic (ECO production), positioning ourselves as a reliable partner for long-term cooperation in both domestic and international markets.

Our production capacities include:

  • 18 chamomile drying units with a total drying area of 756 m²
  • a modern 2,000 m² warehouse, equipped with solar panels and dedicated exclusively to chamomile storage
  • an additional 700 m² warehouse for agricultural machinery and equipment

We have continuously held organic certification since 2018, ensuring a high level of quality, traceability, and compliance with international standards.

Production

Our company produces several hundred tons of dried organic chamomile annually, intended for the food and pharmaceutical industries. At every stage of production, we use modern and highly efficient machinery for sowing, harvesting, and drying, with the aim of achieving top-quality products for both domestic and international markets. All organic production takes place in the Virovitica-Podravina County, in the wider area of the city of Virovitica and the municipalities of Suhopolje and Gradina. The production cycle begins in early autumn with sowing, while the harvest of fresh chamomile takes place during April and May. Most of the machinery and equipment used in our production is specifically adapted for the cultivation of organic chamomile, further optimizing efficiency and process quality. All fields are located in close proximity to the production facility, enabling the rapid transport of freshly harvested chamomile and the start of the drying process in the shortest possible time. The drying process takes approximately 24 hours, after which the dried, unprocessed chamomile is packaged in appropriate packaging and prepared for further processing in our facility.

Processing

Titanik Agricultural Farm processes its own organic chamomile in a facility located in the village of Lipovac, Municipality of Gradina. By using our own raw materials, we ensure full quality control throughout the entire production chain – from the field to processing and packaging of the final product. The processing procedure includes passing the chamomile through specialized machines that separate the stems from the flowers, resulting in high-quality chamomile flowers free from stem residues, with a uniform appearance and premium quality. Further processing through dedicated processing lines enables us to obtain different fractions and product types, fully tailored to the requirements and standards of both domestic and international customers. The entire processing process takes place under controlled conditions, applying high hygiene standards and modern technology that preserves the natural properties of chamomile. Special attention is given to storage and packaging, where the finished product is kept under optimal conditions to maintain its freshness, quality, and stability until delivery to the end customers.

Chamomile

Chamomile flower

Chamomile flower is a small white and yellow flower used for medicinal purposes. It contains essential oils and compounds with anti-inflammatory, soothing, and mild antiseptic properties. It is most commonly used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Chamomile seed

Chamomile seed is very small and lightweight and is used for plant cultivation. It germinates relatively quickly with sufficient light and moisture and is often sown on the surface, as it requires light for germination. It is used in agriculture for chamomile production.

Chamomile powder (Pulvis Chamomile)

A very fine powder obtained from dried chamomile flowers. Due to its fine particle size, it enables faster extraction of active compounds such as bisabolol and chamazulene, making it widely used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and tea industries, as well as for the production of extracts.

Chamomile for extraction

Chamomile for extraction refers to flowers and herb cultivated and harvested for the purpose of obtaining essential oils, active compounds, and similar derivatives. Extraction can be carried out using various methods, and the resulting extracts are used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries.
